ATK Dinh Hoa Landscape Protection Area, Thai Nguyen has an area of 8,728ha. Dinh Hoa Forest, Thai Nguyen Province is a particularly important part of the ATK – Dinh Hoa revolutionary historical relic complex. Along with the localities in the Viet Bac resistance base, ATK Dinh Hoa Forest was the residence and workplace of President Ho Chi Minh and senior leaders of the Party, Government and army during the period 1947 – 1954 (currently there are 109 historical relics recognized by the State). During the resistance years, the ethnic people of Dinh Hoa made many contributions in sheltering and protecting cadres of the Central Party, Government and army, contributing significantly to the historic victory of Dien Bien Phu, completing the great resistance war of the nation. Currently, although the lives of the people and ATK have improved, there are still many difficulties. Therefore, investing in forest protection and development is an important solution to develop the socio-economy, improve people’s lives, demonstrate the morality of drinking water and remembering its source, and demonstrate the Party and Government’s concern for the people of the ATK region.
