Lang Don Mountain Landscape Protection Area, Cao Bang

According to Decision No. 415/QD-UBND dated March 31, 2015 of the People’s Committee of Cao Bang province approving the results of reviewing and adjusting 3 types of forests in Cao Bang province, the Lang Don Mountain Cultural and Historical Relic Forest, Duc Long Commune, Thach An District, with an area of ​​758.1 hectares, is where Uncle Ho directly commanded the border campaign, attacked Dong Khe post; has been ranked by the State as a special national relic site.

Lang Don Mountain is an important historical site associated with the career of President Ho Chi Minh. Lang Dong Mountain is located in Na Lan village, Duc Long commune, Thach An district, 60km from Cao Bang city on National Highway 4. This location was chosen by President Ho Chi Minh to observe and command the Dong Khe campaign in 1950.
