Truong Le Mountain, also known as Sam Son, Sam Mountain or Gam Mountain, is a mountain range located on the southern coast of Sam Son city, Thanh Hoa province. This mountain range is currently covered by a special-use forest area, which is considered to have beautiful natural scenery and is a biologically diverse area. On the mountain is Hon Trong Mai, one of the scenic spots of Thanh Hoa province. In addition, there are also a number of ancient temples such as Doc Cuoc Temple, Co Tien Temple and To Hien Thanh Temple.
In 1962, this area was recognized as a national monument under Decision No. 313-VH/VP of the Ministry of Culture and in 2019, the Office of the Government of Vietnam ranked it as a special national monument with the name “Sam Son Historical Relic and Scenic Landscape”.
