Tan Trao Landscape Conservation Area: established under Decision No. 41/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister. Area 4,187.3ha. Tan Trao Historical Relic Conservation Area is located in 5 communes of Son Duong district (communes of Minh Thanh, Binh Yen, Tan Trao, Trung Yen, Luong Thien).

During the resistance war against French colonialism, the ATK Tan Trao area was associated with the names of senior leaders of the Party and State such as: comrade Truong Chinh, Pham Van Dong, Ton Duc Thang, Nguyen Luong Bang, Vo Nguyen Giap…; especially the great leader of the Vietnamese people, world cultural celebrity President Ho Chi Minh. This place recorded the heroic historical events of the early days of the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, as well as the 9-year long resistance war against the French colonialists, with famous landmarks such as: Hong Thai communal house, Tan Trao Da tree, Tan Trao communal house, Na Nua hut, Bong cave hut…

As an area located in the complex of special national relics, the liberation capital, the resistance capital, there are currently 137 important historical relics distributed throughout the area. During the resistance years, the ethnic people here have made many contributions to sheltering and protecting the cadres of the Central Party, government and army, contributing significantly to the historic victory, completing the great resistance war of the nation.

With such an extremely important historical significance, on May 10, 2012, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 548/QD-TTg on the ranking of special national relics. This is a great source of pride for the people of all ethnic groups in Son Duong district in general and the communes in the ATK region in particular. In recent years, with the attention of the Party and the Government through ministries, branches and the province, investments have been made to restore historical relics, build infrastructure, and gradually change the face of the countryside in the ATK region.
