Na Hang Nature Reserve is a nature reserve established under Decision 274/UB-QD dated May 9, 1994 of the People’s Committee of Tuyen Quang province. Located in the communes of Khau Tinh, Con Lon, Son Phu, Thanh Tuong of Na Hang district, Tuyen Quang province.
Coordinates: 22°16′ – 22°31′ North latitude; 105°22′ – 105°29′ East longitude
Area: 22,401.5 ha.
Na Hang Nature Reserve is located among primeval forests along the banks of the Gam and Nang rivers, with a diverse ecosystem with many rare species of flora and fauna and a unique and fascinating cave system.
The reserve has a rich and diverse fauna in terms of composition, species, and number of individuals; including the Tonkin snub-nosed monkey, an endemic species of Vietnam, listed in the World Red Book. There are nearly 1,200 species of higher plants and is an area with many primary forests with rich plant gene sources and high biodiversity.
