Trap Kso Nature Reserve is located in Ea Ho commune, Krong Nang district, Dak Lak province. This area is at an altitude of about 730 m. The reserve is a flooded lowland, surrounded by forests. The reserve was established with the goal of conserving the species of Water pine or Water pine (scientific name is Glyptostrobus pensilis). Trap Kso special-use water pine forest reserve has an area of ​​about 100 ha with 21 mature water pine trees.

Yew is an ancient tree species listed in the world’s Red Book, currently at high risk of extinction. In the world, there are only three countries where this tree species still exists: Vietnam, China and Laos with less than 500 trees.
