Xuan Nha Special-use Forest is one of the four nature reserves of the province, with a total area of 18,000 hectares, located in the territory of Moc Chau and Van Ho districts. Xuan Nha Special-use Forest is also known for its biodiversity, with many species of animals and plants listed in the Vietnam Red Book, such as: Po mu, green cypress, five-leaf pine, red-faced monkey, yellow-faced chicken… In 2002, the Provincial People’s Committee decided to establish Xuan Nha Nature Reserve and establish Xuan Nha Special-use Forest Ranger Department to protect and develop special-use forests.
